Pannone Corporate has been appointed by AirX – the luxury private aviation specialist – in a series of new client wins for the Manchester-based law firm.

The team will provide legal support to the fast growth company, which operates one of Europe’s largest private jet fleets, employing over 600 staff. Headquartered in Malta, AirX has operations in London, with AirX Jet Support based at Stanstead Airport.

The firm has also been appointed to the legal panel of Chopstix Group – one of the largest Asian-inspired quick serve restaurants in the UK. Pannone will provide legal support to the in-house legal team at Chopstix, which operates restaurants across the UK and Ireland. In addition, the firm has been appointed to the legal panel for  US-owned global manufacturing business, Quanex. The company operates more than 67 facilities worldwide, specialising in the fenestration, cabinetry, solar, refrigeration and security markets.

The new wins strengthen Pannone’s growing client roster, following the firm’s recent appointment by Aviva Studios – home of Factory International – and MIDAS, Manchester’s inward investment agency.

Pannone Corporate has advised crazy golf brand, Junkyard Golf Club, on the purchase of its second London site – its biggest location to date.

The Manchester firm acted as legal adviser to the competitive socialising brand on the acquisition of a prominent 19,500 sq. ft. building in the heart of Camden Town. The former Shaka Zulu restaurant will be transformed into an immersive crazy golf experience and will be the company’s seventh site opening. This includes its flagship venue on First Street in Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Oxford, Shoreditch in London, and Newcastle.

The Pannone team was led by Real Estate partner, James Wynne and included James Brandwood (Senior Associate) and Harry Jenkins (paralegal.)

James has worked alongside Junkyard Golf since 2017, with the firm acting on all site openings since.
