I qualified in 1997 and became a partner in 2003. I have significant experience in handling tribunal and EAT cases and advising on all aspects of employment law. I am very “hands on” with my advice. I deliver my advice with a practical and commercial approach.
In a case reported in the legal press (First Choice Homes (Oldham) Limited v Riley [2008] UKEAT 0051_08_3004) I successfully defended an equal pay claim on the basis of a novel preliminary argument that the ET had no jurisdiction to hear the claim. The claim and appeal against my client both failed.
