Prior to relocating to the UK, Marlie served as associate General Counsel at the Jim Pattison Group, Canada’s largest privately held company, where she advised on corporate transactions and commercial matters for 20 operating divisions in North America and internationally, spanning sectors such as food and beverage, healthcare, entertainment, real estate, automotive and retail. Marlie began her legal career as a Securities Associate at Blake Cassels & Graydon LLP, where she counseled both public and private companies on cross-border M&A, capital markets transactions, and securities regulatory compliance.

Having worked across major legal markets in North America and the UK, Marlie brings an international perspective to her practice.
